    • Once off ramp follow 'Jebel Al, Abu Dhabi' sign.
    • Proceed over the Al Garhoud Bridge.
    • Follow 'Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi' sign until you pass through a short tunnel.
    • After tunnel follow the 'Trade Center sign.
    • Move to right hand lane, follow 'Trade Center sign.
    • Proceed onto roundabout in center lane.
    • Take 'Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi' exit off roundabout.
    • Take first right exit (do not go back onto highway).
    • Fairmont Dubai is on your right hand side.
    • Out of hotel driveway turn right at first corner.
    • Proceed straight and turn right at first corner.

    • Through the signal light and onto the round-a-bout.
    • Take the 'Sheikh Zayed Road' exit off the round-a-bout (with Airplane symbol).
    • Proceed straight and keep following the Airplane symbol.
    • Proceed over the Al Garhoud Bridge.
    • Take the first exit off the bridge (number 58).
    • Follow 'Al Garhoud' sign.
    • Turn right at Airport symbol 'Al Khawaneej' sign.
    • Follow Terminal 1 sign.
    • Follow signs to Arrivals or Departures.
    • Out of hotel driveway turn right at first corner.
    • Proceed straight and turn right at first corner.
    • Proceed straight, stay in the right hand lane.
    • Through the signal light and onto the roundabout.
    • Take the 'Airport' exit off the roundabout.
    • Proceed straight and follow the 'Al Maktoum Bridge' sign.

Still the best located Hotel in Dubai

My experience this time wasn't as good as the last or the time before. Obviously, if I was downgraded from Gold to Silver, I wouldn't have the usual room upgrade, I have to admit that I was spoilt by Fairmont and this is just me venting. The rooms were fine, Room Service was as usual "top-notch" probably the best in Dubai in any hotel, timely, friendly and great food. Trophy Bar was also as usual, great. So overall good. The only difference this time which was a bother was that, since I had a smoking room as per my request, only certain elevators were deaignated to go to the 21st floor and that was time-consuming, since I had to wait for the right one to get into & I couldn't go into just any elevator to get to my floor. I hope this aspect could be overcome the next time. Otherwise, the stay was satisfying. Thank you

Another Great Stay

From the moment I arrived I felt welcome, the receptionist was warm and despite it being 1AM in a delightful mood. The hotel kindly allocated a wonderful room once again. The Fairmont is definately my home away from home in Dubai and much looking forward to visiting again. The staff at the concierge helpped out a lot in regards to an issue I was experiencing with my laptop. I visited the Lounge a few times and found the se3rvice and food offered excellent. Also had some collegues join me for the buffet dinner, incredible service with a wide variety of dishes, the room itself though needs a major upgrade as it's very sterile and old fashioned.

Breakfast was small, ambience was inhospitable

Coming from the Marriott, the Fairmont was “fair”. The staff was slow (exceedingly at times, particularly during check in, which took close to 30 minutes). The view was lovely, but there are other hotels with nice views. The slow service and dark breakfast atmosphere made me not want to stay at another Fairmont again.
